I am now on Facebook, as myself, not my NE Learns 2.0 persona. I have connected with some family including a cousin from far away. I posted on her wall that pictures will eventually be forthcoming when I have a way to do it. It is not possible on the library computers. Also Susan posted on my wall. Yeah.
I have been playing with my profile and I finally figured how to hide my e-mail address. I joined the ARLS, Association of Rural & Small Libraries as being the closest to my particular situation as I am not a member of NLA and my library doesn't have its own Facebook page. I don't think that is on the director's list of things to do in the next few months.
